Richards Wins Summer SeriesJason Richards driving for the BMW Motorsport team in the BNT BMW 320i clinched the New Zealand Touring Car Summer Series with a brilliant series of drives in the second half of the New Zealand Touring Car Championship. His top points finish also placed him on pole for the one off New Zealand International Touring Car Championship. It was an eventful year for Richards, who was promoted to one of BMW Motorsport's BMW 320i drives. He also drove several races in the Australian Touring Car Championship in a privateer BMW Super Tourer and participated in the AMP Bathurst 1000 with New Zealand team mate Brett Riley, at one point running as high as sixth.
