Background

Bill
commenced motor racing in 1973, finding success at both Car Club
Level and then National Championship Level. Always a consistent
performer, in the last two seasons he only failed to finish once
in 28 races, a tyre puncture forcing his one DNF. A highlight
was contesting the Nurburgring 24 hr Touring Car Race in Germany,
finishing 8th in Class. Bill was also in the 1998 contingent of
Shedule S cars who competed in the AMP Bathurst 1000 |
