Kevin
began racing a Formula Ford in 1992, graduating to a Porsche 911
in 1996. This lead to competition at numerous Classic and Targa
Events in New Zealand. A highlight has been competing in the Nurburgring
24 hr Touring Car Race in Germany, with a best finish being 5th
in a Group N 2.0 litre car. In 1998 driving a BMW M3, Kevin's
team ran as high as 12th overall before a DNF at 20 hours. Recently
Kevin competed in his first year at Rallying in the Mainland Series,
driving a Mitsubishi Lancer running 6th overall. With Rod Hicks,
Kevin won the New Zealand Schedule S Class in the 1998 AMP Bathurst
1000 finishing an incredible 10th overall. Most recently Kevin
has been competing in the Australian Formula Holden Open Wheeler
Class, surviving an horrendous crash at the Adelaide Street Racing
Festival that broke his car into two pieces. |
